ÚNICO FÚTBOL ACADEMY begins with the word, “Unico”, which translates to one-of-a-kind in the Spanish language. We are one of a kind in pursuit of always taking care of our players on and off the field. At ÚNICO our mission stems from simple reasons: taking care of the person before the player and guiding those players to conquer their goals on the field. We pride ourselves in our staff and players that continually look to push themselves to new levels in their daily lives.

Founders Mission
My mission goal is to maximize and mentor the future players on and off the field whilst demanding the absolute best from them technically, tactically, emotionally, and cognitively.
Etzael (Et-sa-L) Gonzalez is our Founder and Director who has taken the responsibility of creating a safe environment that supports players from all walks of life, enriching their development as people and as soccer players. Originally from Southeast Dallas, Texas, Etzael has had the privilege of working with players from the recreational level to professional soccer players. He has committed himself to surrounding himself with some of the best in the game whilst instituting those teachings onto his players. Etzael has been coaching for nearly a decade developing talent in states, such as Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and now Colorado.​ Gonzalez was awarded the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 for the 24-25 year designed to support up-and-coming members of the coaching profession who are 30 years of age or younger.​ He currently holds the UEFA B License through the Scottish F.A. and actively pursuing his USSF A Youth License.

Training Vision
At ÚNICO, our focus is on comprehensive player development, targeting five key areas: technical coordination, tactical understanding, psycho-social development, physical fitness, and goal setting. Our training approach is intentional and intensive, leveraging universal football principles that transcend geographical boundaries.
Furthermore, our training programs are designed to cater specifically to your playing position(s). You can anticipate receiving abundant feedback, input, and support from the ÚNICO team, as we believe in a collaborative journey.
